Katsuyuki Nakasuga sailed under difficult weather conditions at the Valencia Grand Prix podium and was overjoyed.

As reserve driver for Ben Spies Katsuyuki Nakasuga it managed at the Valencia Grand Prix from the podium. "It's like a dream," enthused the Japanese, who was all smiles. "I want to thank everyone that I had the chance to compete in this race, especially of course Yamaha. You have all worked so hard to get me to allow this."

Nakasuga was overjoyed, particularly because his crew had pulled him out of the race start the race on slicks and it so much easier. "That was exactly the right tires in these conditions."
