| Jaguar has announced the prices for the new XE known |
With first four engines of the Jaguar XE takes the start of 2015 to the battle for market share in the premium mid-class. Premiere in the largely made of aluminum Brits celebrate two four-cylinder diesel with two liter cubic capacity of the new Ingenium engine family the manufacturer. It starts with a version with 120 kW / 163 hp and 380 Nm of torque, which should make do with just 3.8 liters fuel per 100 kilometers. In ranked a 180 hp upgrade level 430 Nm maximum torque. The British are oriented with their new engines at the upper end of the performance range of the German competitors Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class, but dispense at least initially on a V6 diesel.

In the petrol, the British have also made available the entry at the German weaker engines. There is a choice of well-known example from the business sedan 2.0-liter turbo with 177 kW / 240 hp and used in sports car F-Type 3.0-liter supercharged engine with 250 kW / 340 hp.
Prices start at 36,500 Euros and are, as usual, Jaguar, slightly higher than the German competitors. The traditionally more extensive facilities expected to offset partially the difference however again.
