Formula 1 - Button wants McLaren To Form Themselves

Jenson Button will be in the upcoming season of the team leader at McLaren
Jenson Button will be in the upcoming season of the team leader at McLaren, and is looking forward to the role. Perez, however, must have patience.
Jenson Button in the 2012 season was the man for the special hours. The McLaren driver won both the opener in Melbourne as well as the final Grand Prix in Brazil, and also contributed to the Ardennes classics of Spa in the winners' list. Finally it reached the World Cup only for fifth place, just behind his outgoing teammate Lewis Hamilton. This next year will be replaced by Sergio Perez, which means that the button in the team leader role belongs to which he looks forward.

"I enjoy it really, the guide and driver of that type to be helping the team to improve the car," said the Briton. "So I'm really looking forward to 2013," he continued. "I now have a few months to form the team and the car to me in the factory." Button pointed out positive that McLaren is a racing team, in which the opinion of the pilot bit counts, because they are an important part of the picture. "It's not just about driving the car, but it is also about the development and means a lot."

Perez said recently that he wants to drive with McLaren as early as next season for victories and even the title, but Button slowed the zeal of his future companions a bit, saying that the Mexicans will need some time to settle in the team. "I'm on the development direction pretty excited," said Button. "For Sergio, it's about getting to know the team and the car, and during the season, when he settled in, he can shape the direction," says the 32-year-old. "But at the moment this is impossible because he has not yet gone McLaren and therefore do not really know how it will be."
