Opel wants to polish its image with the revived activities in motor sport. Next year, the automaker will go directly to the start of two competitions.
Opel is involved again in motorsport. From season 2013 a rally of small car Adam Cup during the ADAC Rallye Masters Series Extend one-make series. In addition, 2013 is a racing version of the Astra OPC is applied for customer sport. The compact coupe is designed technically to the VLN Endurance Championship at the Nurburgring in this context and should also extend one-make series. Also participate in the 24-hour race in the Eifel is provided.
Opel looks back on over 100 years of motor racing history. Shortly after the recording of automobile production in 1899 and the first vehicles were sent to competitions.
