After Marco Simoncelli last year tragic accident at the Sepang circuit, the MotoGP entourage returns this weekend for the first time for a Grand Prix back to the place in Malaysia. To commemorate the charismatic Italian the entire paddock gathered at 16.00 local time clock at the crash site, in eleven of the curve track.

Fausto Gresini particularly experienced a hard time in 2011. After he had lost in 2004, Daijiro Kato at Suzuka after a serious accident, he thought at the end of last year, even quitting. But the Italian has been bitten, and stood with his team in the front row at the memorial. Behind the barriers was a badge "SIC 58 SIEMPRE NEL CUORE" (SIC 58, you will always be in our hearts ") attached.
