An aerodynamically optimized body, the standard electric power steering and reduced mechanical friction in the drive train press the fuel consumption. In the entry-level version with rear-wheel drive and manual five-speed transmission takes the Terios now 7.2 liters of petrol per 100 kilometers (previously: 7.5 l/100 km) and pushes out 169 grams of CO2 per kilometer (previously 176g/km).
From the outside, the facelift version of the revised front and rear bumpers, a new grille design, newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels and clear rear lights can be seen. Inside the Daihatsu Terios donated a modified instrument panel and a redesigned steering wheel.
