The DS4 model of the French manufacturer receives the first time a converter automatic transmission. The brand refers the component from a supplier Aisin.
Effective immediately, the Citroën DS4 HDi 165 is available with a six-speed automatic transmission from Aisin. These diesel automatic variant produces 120 kW at 3,750 rpm. The maximum torque is 340 Nm at 2,000 rpm per minute typical diesel. In transverse installation of the engine and front-wheel drive, the French had in selecting the suppliers no great pain, but currently offers only a converter Aisin automatic transmission for this constellation. The nine-speed ZF solution will probably not be available before 2014.
